El Caminante offers a charming Spanish hacienda vibe that captivated us. The record player in our room elevated the retro experience, and the beautiful outdoor patios invited relaxation. We truly appreciated the complimentary beach chairs for our seaside adventures. Wishing the rooms had more space!

It was just a strong match for a temporary stay in Dana Point with good value. The ocean views from the room were amazing and made the stay worthwhile. Try to get an upstairs room to avoid noise from above.

The Double Room had an astonishing ocean view. Sunsets from the upper deck were a treat. The room was spotless and full of thoughtful details. Valued complimentary e-bikes for exploring the area. A welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch. However, the absence of a pool was noticeable. Not complaining too much, since the beach was steps away, but still wished for a place to lounge without the sand. Parking was convenient, and the bar had excellent cocktails. Overall, a fabulous getaway despite the potential for poolside relaxation being missed.

missingWrote a review on 17 Juntight parking
Parking spaces proved to be a bit tight during busy periods, which required some maneuvering. The shower in my room leaked, making the tile floor quite slippery, which could have presented a safety issue. Furthermore, the lack of a pool was noticeable. while the beach was close, a pool to lounge by would have been ideal for a relaxing day.
